Just about everyone who tours China stops at the Great Wall. Probably near Beijing. Along with thousands of their closest
friends. This location is a wonder because it's the terminus of the wall, where it extends out into the sea to discourage horse-mounted invaders.
The tourist season is spring through fall.
Don't expect to be surrounded by other tourists. And don't expect to find anyone else who speaks English. This location is mainly known by the Chinese. Advice: Book a guide.
