Once again I woke up to some fog outside my window in early November and quickly flew up to take a look. It was burning off quickly by the rising sun by the time I noticed this old pine standing high above her neighbors and decided to build my composition around her. I have walked by this tree many times during the years but from the ground the only noteworthy thing is the large trunk and not the magnificent height and how striking she is from above. I’ll be back to this spot again as winter sets in to see her in snow.
