The water flow at Zion was OK but not great this past Autumn. However, there was enough spray to get some interesting images from behind the waterfalls at Lower Emerald Pools.
I tried various shutter speeds from fast to slow and different focal lengths. You can go for smooth trails or choose to stop the spray as I did in this image. I have three shots that I like, one at 100mm, one at 135 mm, and one at 188 mm. This one is at 100 mm.
I used focus stacking but it's progressively tricky the longer the focal length because out of focus branches are larger.
The longer the lens, the more annoying the out of focus branches. I spent a long time manually removing spray captured by the camera in places where it not be in a single image.
Note: there is much more detail in the spray than you see here. Conversion to 1200 long edge JPEG is the culprit.
