I have an area in my yard set up for photographing birds. So very many species frequent the area, affording many photographic opportunities. One of the birds I sought most, particularly while I could still find green in the environment, is the common cardinal. The one on my property flat out refused to reveal himself until the light settled in behind the mountain, making a good shot difficult. Finally one day in soft overcast autumn light, he introduced himself........ SONY a92, 100 - 400 GM, f4.5 I am not sure of the shutter speed. I am really going to have to work at getting more landscape images next year.............
