This picture was taken from a temple complex located on a hill and enabling to get a high perspective on the surrounding rice fields. The pathways provided pleasing leading lines across many directions. With a telephoto lens I looked for the simplest possible composition that would isolate some of those leading lines and at the same time create an interesting point of focus. I found a tree that fitted pretty well and while composing I got rewarded by a small flock of birds that flew across the frame as a bonus.
