I was on the shore of the Virgin River at the Temple of Sinawava in Zion February 2022 when I turned to look up stream and saw the light selectively highlighting the top of this leafless tree. I hurried to get in a position to take a shot. I love the contrast of the sharp, bright branches against bland, crimson cliff background and how the tree appears to be floating.
