This is my favorite landscape photo for 2022. The challenge with photographing Spider Rock is finding a foreground. Access is limited to an overlook with a waist high wall that runs mostly right against the cliff edge and where it is set back trees and shrubs often partially obstruct the formation. I was lucky to get some clouds and have snow on the ground. Shot on December 20, 2022 with a Canon R5, Canon RF 15-35 2.8 lens, 15mm, f 8.0, ISO 100. Two focus stacked exposures ( 1/25 sec and 0.5 sec) were blended to develop the final image.
